IMMIGRATION REFORM IN THE UNITED STATES

What Ordinary People Must Do

  • Report any activity of illegal aliens that you witness to ICE/Immigration.
  • Report businesses or landlords that employ or rent to any illegal aliens.
  • Don't employ or rent to any illegal aliens. Verify that they are US citizens/legal residents by making them provide documentation.
  • Do not donate to charities that provide assistance to illegal aliens.

What The Government Must Do

  • Set aside 18 billion dollars to build a 30 feet border with electrical current between Mexico/united states.
  • Designate certain areas as mine zones between the US and Mexico.
  • Fund more technology such as x-ray cameras to inspect trucks/cars.
  • Employ 250,000 extra agents, increase their pay by 5% for border patrol.
  • Cut federal funding for sanctuary cities to the lowest point possible.
  • Place strong fines on businesses (tax hike of 12% for the year they are caught) that are found employing illegal aliens.

North American/Latin American Economic unity treaty:

The bill will aim at ending unemployment/underemployment, lack of opportunities and corruption which are an underlying cause of illegal immigration.

Member nations: Any north American/Latin American country wishing to join.

  • All member countries will adopt a uniform foreign business tax code, meaning that all nations that settle in any member country will pay taxes at the same rate. The rate of taxation for any company that settles in a member country coming from Asia will be 5%(lower than Asia), of which 2.5% will be used for worker's compensation/education reform in the country.
  • All member countries should adopt a tariff/protectionist system against foreign industries that have settled in China/Asia from the US/Europe.
  • All countries will place a tariff of 18% on all Asian made goods, thus forcing companies to bring jobs to countries in the western hemisphere.
  • The bill will create a transnational league/agency whose job it will be to regulate business activity amongst the nations.
  • Members representing the countries would meet at a biannual summit in a different capital of a member country to discuss relations/economic issues affecting the countries.
  • The Cuban embargo will be repealed and Cuba will allowed to be a member.
  • The bill will include a worker's bill of rights stating that all employees in member countries will be paid a minimum of $4/hr(with the exception of the U.S.).Workers must be 17 or older to work, and they will be eligible for worker's compensation if they are hurt while on the job.

The Drug-War/gang violence eradication treaty:

  • Member countries facing drug-trafficking problems(Colombia & Mexico), and central America(gang violence) will receive military training by US forces and will receive our help through military intervention at any point that they ask for it. The US will send equipped troops to fight drug-traffickers and gangs.

  1. Make a MINE FIELD on our border with Mexico. Are you F--ing nuts? There are some proposals I could almost start to talk about, and I am intrigued a conservative blog post is defending minimum wages and ending the Cuba embargo, but creating a mine field with a friendly neighbor when the entire rest of the civilized world is trying to end landmines??

  3. If you are thinking of pre-law, I recommend you brush up on the laws of this country asap! Landlords verifying citizenship? And if you really think unemployment is caused by undocumented immigrants, you don't know much about economy either. You must be a very sad and lonely person. Like any Nazi.

  4. actually.in many states around the country landlords are allowed to verify citizenship/legal residence. It should be instituted in every state. It is a fact that undocumented immigrants play a big part in unemployment. How exactly am I a nazi? Im Hispanic hahaha...wow. You are a lunatic. I have no problem with people that come here the right way. Maybe you should reexamine your knowledge of what a nazi is before you accuse others of being one,and while your on it learn a little about law and the economy. ciao.

  5. We should take care of our own people before taking care of illegal immigrants, who send their pay back to mexico instead of putting it back into our economy. Their non english speaking children clog our schools. If you want to see a big drain on our economy visit a welfare office. I would like to take a picture of heathy men and women and their 7 kids and title it "Our tax dollars hard at work"
